So Bored

Well the title says it all...I'm bored.  There is nothing to do in my little town.  And as much as I love my parents, I kind of enjoy living on my own or with C. I will be calling my boyfriend that until I decide to share the blog with him. But I will give you a glimpse of him.

It's days like this that make me miss him even more.  But hey I can not complain, his deployment is not that long compared to what others experience with their loved ones.  Anyway I know this is a little random, but I wanted to introduce C into the blog since I'm sure a lot of what I will write will involve him.  Tomorrow I will write about our first date and maybe a little more.

First Blog Post!!! Yay!!!

I am so excited to start my own blog. It is definitely a work in progress, so please forgive me for any blogger mistakes I might make along the way.
My name is Jessica and I am from a small town in the Carolina's.  Seriously there is like nothing to do here, not even a movie theatre, all that good stuff is 45 minutes away.  So to make a long story short, I moved to another city in the Carolina's for school.  After graduation I was suckered offered a management opportunity in retail management. This jail sentence great opportunity landed me into the Charlotte area and I had no personal life.  Like none, nada, zip....

So I turned to what every bored single girl does, a dating website.  It was awesome you put in what you like and hundreds, maybe not that many, come back to you.  I was not looking for  anything serious, just a free drink or two.  Funny thing is I found way more than that with my super sweet, kind, loving, handsome, intelligent boyfriend.  I had to say all of that, just in case I decide to tell him about this blog.  But anyways after the initial first meet and greet, in which he gave me the wrong directions, we have pretty much been together ever since.

Last month we celebrated our 1st year anniversary together, well in separate countries, but hey we made it a year and that is what really counts.  And we made it through a challenging year including me being sent to three different stores, living together and now deployment.

I will be honest deployment is not easy, it can be difficult. So now I'm really getting my first good taste of military life.  And you know what I think I can do it.  I look forward to this new journey and sharing it as I go along.
